Account Information

Profile Information
Professionals on the platform may provide additional profile information including skills, years of experience, hourly or day rates, a biography, portfolio items, and a profile photo. Clients may provide information about their company or organisation. This information is used to match the right talent with the right opportunities.
Payment Information
All payment processing on Intellix Hub is handled by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit or debit card details on our servers. When you add a payment method or connect a Stripe account, your payment data is transmitted directly to Stripe and stored under their PCI-DSS compliant systems. We may receive limited information from Stripe, such as the last four digits of your card and the card expiration date, for display purposes.
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you visit and use our platform, including your IP address, browser type and version, pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on pages, referral URLs, and other diagnostic data. This helps us understand how the platform is used and improve it.
Communications
When you communicate with other users through our built-in messaging system, we store those messages in order to facilitate the conversation, provide dispute resolution support, and ensure platform safety. We also store communications you send to us directly, such as support requests.
Device Information
We may collect information about the device you use to access the platform, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

Processing your account information, facilitating payments, and delivering core marketplace features is necessary to fulfil the contract we have with you as a user of Intellix Hub.

- Match clients with professionals: To surface relevant job opportunities to professionals and surface suitable candidates to clients based on skills, experience, and availability.
- Send service notifications: To send you transactional emails related to your account, contracts, payments, and platform activity (e.g., new messages, deliverable approvals). You cannot opt out of strictly necessary transactional communications.
- Prevent fraud and abuse: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, fake profiles, policy violations, and other harmful or illegal activities.
- Comply with legal obligations: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and lawful requests from public authorities.
6. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the limited circumstances described below:
Stripe
Payment processing
All financial transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your payment data is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. Stripe processes data in accordance with their PCI-DSS certification.
Supabase
Database & Authentication
Supabase provides our backend database and authentication services. Your account data and platform content is stored in Supabase's infrastructure. Data is stored in accordance with Supabase's Data Processing Agreement.
Vercel
Hosting & Infrastructure
Intellix Hub is hosted on Vercel's platform. Vercel may process technical data such as IP addresses and request logs as part of providing hosting services.
Other Users
Public profile information
Information you add to your public profile — such as your name, bio, skills, rates, and reviews — is visible to other users of the platform. This is a core function of the marketplace.
Law Enforcement
When legally required
We may disclose your personal data to law enforcement, government authorities, or other third parties if required to do so by law, court order, or where we believe such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
7. International Data Transfers
Intellix Hub operates globally, and your personal data may be stored and processed in any country where we or our service providers maintain facilities. This includes countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

If you are under 18, you may not create an account or use the Intellix Hub platform. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a person under 18, we will take prompt steps to delete that data from our systems.

- Hashed and salted password storage — we never store passwords in plain text
