1. Our Commitment to Safety

Intellix Hub is built on trust. Every feature we build — from verified reviews to secure messaging — exists to make the platform safer for the people who use it. Whether you are a client hiring remote talent or a professional building a career, you deserve a platform where you can work with confidence.

We are committed to maintaining a platform where:

  • Payments are held securely until work is approved — clients never pay for undelivered work, professionals are always paid for completed work.
  • Profiles represent real people with genuine skills — we take misleading or fraudulent profiles seriously.
  • Every user is treated with respect — harassment, discrimination, and abuse have no place here.
  • Problems are handled fairly — when things go wrong, we review the situation and work toward a fair resolution for both parties.

These are not aspirational statements — they are the design principles behind every decision we make. Trust is not a feature. It is the platform.

2. How Payments Work

During early access, payments are arranged manually between clients and professionals. Keep records of all payment confirmations. Full escrow protection — where funds are held securely until work is approved — is coming in a future platform upgrade.

For clients

During early access, you send payments directly to professionals via Wise, bank transfer, or your preferred method. Only send payment for work that has been delivered to the agreed standard. Keep records of all payment confirmations. Full escrow protection — where funds are held securely until work is approved — is coming in a future platform upgrade.

For professionals

During early access, clients send payments directly to your bank account or preferred payment method. Agree on payment terms before starting work. Keep records of payment confirmations. Bi-weekly payment schedule is standard on Intellix Hub. Full automated payment protection is coming soon.

Intellix Hub is building Stripe-powered escrow for full payment protection. This will hold client funds securely until work is approved, then automatically release payment to professionals. This feature is planned for a future platform upgrade. We will notify all users before it launches.

3. How to Report a Problem

If you encounter something on Intellix Hub that concerns you — a fraudulent profile, a payment issue, harassment, or any other violation — please contact us immediately.

Include as much detail as possible: the username or profile URL involved, a description of what happened, and any screenshots or evidence you have. We take every report seriously and will follow up.

When reporting, please include:

  • The username or profile URL of the person involved
  • A clear description of what happened
  • The date and approximate time of the incident
  • Any screenshots, messages, or other evidence
  • The contract or job post ID, if relevant

We treat all reports confidentially. Reporting a user does not guarantee a specific outcome, but every report is reviewed and acted upon where appropriate.

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviours are prohibited on Intellix Hub. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination. This list mirrors the prohibited conduct section of our Terms of Service.

Circumventing the platform

Taking a working relationship off Intellix Hub to circumvent the platform. All paid work originating from an Intellix Hub introduction must remain on the platform for 24 months.

Fake or misleading profiles

Creating profiles with fabricated credentials, false work history, or impersonating another person or company.

Fake reviews

Posting, soliciting, or coercing reviews that do not reflect a genuine experience. Reviews must be honest and based on a real contract.

Harassment & discrimination

Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against any user on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Sharing contact info to bypass the platform

Sharing personal email addresses, phone numbers, or social media handles in job descriptions, proposals, or messages for the purpose of transacting outside the platform.

Illegal activities

Using Intellix Hub to facilitate, promote, or engage in any activity that is illegal under applicable local, national, or international law.

Intellectual property infringement

Posting, uploading, or distributing content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Spam & platform manipulation

Sending unsolicited bulk messages, using bots or scripts to scrape data, or artificially inflating profile metrics.

This is not an exhaustive list. Intellix Hub reserves the right to take action against any behaviour that we determine to be harmful to users or the platform, even if not explicitly listed above.

5. How Disputes Are Handled

Step 1 — Direct resolution

Most issues between clients and professionals can be resolved through direct communication. If something isn't right — a missed deadline, a scope disagreement, a deliverable that doesn't meet expectations — we encourage both parties to communicate openly through the platform's messaging system first.

Step 2 — Escalate to Intellix Hub

If direct resolution fails, either party can escalate to Intellix Hub by emailing support@intellix-hub.com with the subject line Dispute: [Contract/Job ID]. Include a clear description of the issue, the outcome you are seeking, and any supporting evidence.

What happens during a dispute

  • Escrowed funds are frozen — neither party can access them until the dispute is resolved.
  • Both parties are asked to submit their account of events, including any messages, deliverables, and contract terms.
  • Intellix Hub reviews the evidence and makes a determination on a best-efforts basis.
  • Our decision regarding escrow release is final within the platform, though it does not prevent either party from seeking legal remedies through the courts.
Important: Intellix Hub's dispute process is offered on a best-efforts basis and does not constitute formal legal arbitration. For significant financial disputes, we encourage both parties to seek independent legal advice. Our full dispute resolution policy is described in Section 13 of our Terms of Service.
