What's New on Intellix Hub — Early Access Updates

Platform updates

When we launched Intellix Hub, we knew the first version wouldn't be perfect. But we committed to one thing: building in public, listening to our users, and shipping fast. This post is a full account of everything we've built, changed, and improved during early access.

It's completely free — for now

The biggest change we made during early access is also the simplest: Intellix Hub is now completely free to use. Zero platform fees. Clients can post jobs, hire professionals, and manage contracts without paying a single cent to us. Professionals keep 100% of every payment they receive.

This isn't permanent — we plan to introduce a transparent flat fee once we've built the community and proven the value of the platform. But we'll give everyone advance notice before that happens. For now, use it freely.

LinkedIn-style professional profiles

We rebuilt the professional profile system from the ground up. Professionals can now add:

Employment History

Showcase every role, company, employment type, dates, responsibilities, and skills used. Just like LinkedIn, with a "Currently working here" toggle.

Education

Add your degree, field of study, and school with dates.

Certifications

Upload certificates (PDF, JPG, PNG), add credential IDs and verification links. Your credentials are front and center.

We also added a "See more / See less" toggle for long descriptions — so profiles stay clean without hiding important information.

Video proposals

Professionals can now submit video proposals when applying for jobs. Instead of just a written cover letter, you can record a short video introduction — MP4, MOV, or WebM, up to 100MB.

You can submit a written proposal, a video, or both. We think video proposals will become one of the most powerful ways to stand out — clients get to see your personality, communication style, and confidence before they ever send a message.

PDF contracts for both parties

Every contract created on Intellix Hub now generates a professional PDF document that both parties can download. The contract includes:

  • Both parties' details
  • Agreed rate and payment schedule
  • Contract duration
  • 8 standard clauses covering services, payment, IP, confidentiality, and disputes
  • Signature blocks for both parties

Download it from your contract page anytime.

Manual payments — transparent and honest

We want to be upfront about payments. Intellix Hub does not currently process payments automatically. During early access, clients and professionals arrange payments directly using Wise, PayPal, bank transfer, GCash, or any agreed method.

We're building full Stripe-powered payment processing — with escrow protection, automatic bi-weekly releases, and complete payment transparency. It's coming. But we didn't want to delay the platform launch while we waited for payment infrastructure to be ready.

In the meantime, the platform handles everything else: job posts, applications, contracts, messaging, calls, and community. Payments happen outside the platform for now.

Community feed improvements

Long posts in the community feed now show a "See more" option — so your feed stays clean and readable. Click to expand any post that interests you.

What's coming next

Here's what we're working on:

Stripe-powered escrow and automatic bi-weekly payments
Professional analytics — profile views, application stats
Endorsement system — peer recommendations
Team hiring — hire multiple professionals under one account
Mobile app (PWA first, then native)
More blog posts, guides, and resources for remote professionals

We're building Intellix Hub in public. If you have feedback, ideas, or feature requests — post in the community feed or email us at support@intellix-hub.com. We read everything.

Thank you for being part of early access

Every professional who builds their profile, every client who posts a job, and every conversation that happens on this platform helps us build something better.
